This event took place at the Ukrainian Embassy of Austria, which provided a fantastic setting for the last regular event of the MLIBC in 2018.
The panel included Ukrainian Ambassador to Austria Oleksandr Scherba, Tanja Porčnik, President and co-founder of the Visio Institute, and Dr. Mehdi M. Ali, adjunct professor in business and management at Webster University in Vienna.
The animated discussion, moderated by MLIBC secretary Ulrich Hammerschmidt, circled around the question of economic development in the post-Soviet sphere and the associated mechanics and problems of the now free economies.
After the discussion, attendees were able to continue discussion and network over an excellent buffet. Our thanks also go to Maryna Nagaychuk from the Embassy for her support and excellent organisation.
